About the Developer

Hi, I’m the developer behind Lumen Budget. I started building this app because I was frustrated with the budgeting tools I found out there; most were either overly complicated, required linking my bank accounts, or charged high subscription fees for basic features. I wanted something simple, private, and effective.

I am studying computer science with a concentration in cybersecurity, and I knew there had to be a better way. So, I decided to create an app where all your data stays safely on your device, while still providing you with the tools you need to stay on top of your finances.

What started as a small side project quickly grew into a passion. I spent countless late nights designing, coding, and testing, making sure every feature was intuitive and useful in real life. From the main monthly budget that resets automatically, to customizable accounts and quick transaction entry, every detail was designed with everyday money management in mind.

This app isn’t backed by a big company, it’s a project I care deeply about. Your not just using a software your helping to support a colledge students dream.
